UW Stevens Point Scholarship Information
For over 25 years, Badgerland SCI has been awarding scholarships to UWSP students majoring in wildlife and having an outdoors/hunting/fishing background. During this period we have typically awarded one or two $1,000 scholarships annually to well-deserving students.
Badgerland SCI has also been contributing to an endowment fund over this time. Our ultimate goal has been to build up the endowment fund to over $25,000. Which would be enough for the fund to sustain itself and also award at least 1 scholarship annually in perpetuity through the interest earned by the fund. We currently have about $19,500 in this fund.
The Badgerland Board of Directors would like to offer you a chance to join us in being part of a legacy which would enable this scholarship program to continue for the foreseeable future. Your tax-deductible donation for this program would entitle you to your name or your company’s name on our new Badgerland SCI website as well as recognition at our annual Hunter’s Expo. If you would rather keep your donation “anonymous”, that can be done as well. If we receive funds that surpass the $25,000 goal, that would enable us to increase the scholarship amounts or give additional scholarships each year.
